The Sureserve Foundation were awarded a grant from the Energy Saving Trust’s Covid-19 Emergency Fuel Voucher Fund, to help vulnerable households with emergency fuel top-ups over the winter period.
In October, the Foundation was awarded grant funding from the Energy Redress Scheme, managed by the Energy Saving Trust, to deliver emergency fuel vouchers to individuals and households in need, across the UK. The Foundation worked with a number of the Sureserve Group’s housing and local authority clients to identify households who were at risk of self-disconnection and who had been adversely affected by the Covid-19 pandemic, either economically or socially.
Working with our teams across the Sureserve Group – K&T Heating, Sure Maintenance, Aaron Services, Everwarm Limited,
and our clients across the UK – The Guinness Partnership, Aberdeenshire Council, CHP, First Choice Homes Oldham, Futures Housing Group, Great Places Housing Group, The London Borough of Havering, Royal Bourough of Kensington & Chelsea, L&Q, City of Lincoln Council, Moat, The Salvation Army, South Essex Homes, Southern Housing Group, Warmworks Scotland and South Holland District Council; over the 3 month winter period, the Foundation provided in excess of 900 emergency fuel vouchers to individuals, families and households in need and who otherwise would have been unable to heat their home during this difficult time.
