Uta Hope is a fundraiser by profession with over 30 experience on director level and more than 10 years of service on charity boards. She is passionate about charities and businesses working together for a fairer world, reducing inequality and helping achieve social justice. She joined the Sureserve Foundation as a trustee shortly after it was set up in 2020.

Uta was on the board of Stoll, the Veterans’ Housing and Support charity; and is a trustee of the musical charity Young Sounds UK where she chairs the fundraising sub-committee, as well as a member of the General Committee of the Reform Club.

“Ian has over 3 decades of experience working within the social housing sector providing strategic support to clients and delivering connected compliance solutions. Ian started his current role as Client Relationship Director with Sureserve Compliance in 2013 and became Chairman of The Sureserve Foundation in 2025 having been a trustee of the charity since 2020”

With over 30 Years experience within the Fire & Security Industry, Graeme previously served 26 Years with the Chubb Fire & Security Group, in numerous roles, holding Director Level Positions for over 20 Years. His latter 2 roles holding Business Unit Managing Director Roles, Graeme’s earlier career was spent in Military service.

He has extensive experience, proven success & stellar achievements in Commercial, Operational, Technical and People Leadership scenario’s.

With a passion for impactful and charitable causes, applying his skillsets, energy and Business Leadership expertise provides a great complementation to the Trustee body. Eliminating Fuel Poverty is centric to his values and ambition to make positive and lasting impacts to Social Housing & the Communities therein.

He holds a master’s degree in business administration (MBA) from Leeds University Business School.

In his day job, he heads up the Sureserve Fire Business, leading the Business on a phenomenal Growth trajectory, doubling it in size already within the first 2 Years, with the journey only just underway.

“Tom joined the Foundation's board of trustees at the start of 2026, having worked with the Sureserve Group since 2024. His corporate background spans commercial, communications and legal functions, and he brings with it voluntary experience in fundraising and the governance of community groups. Together these give him a broad perspective that he is pleased to put to use in the Foundation's work.

Tom is drawn to the Foundation's mission of easing the burden of fuel poverty for households and communities and to the real, practical difference its funding and support make to people in need. He is keen to play his part in the Foundation's good governance and continued growth, helping it reach wider and deliver lasting support where it matters most.”

“Simone joined the Foundation's board of trustees in December 2022, having worked with the Sureserve Compliance Central since 2021.  Simone has over 25 years in the role of PA / Office Management and brings with her experience in grant applications and event management, alongside everything “administration”.  Simone wanted to join the Foundation to help support the work the foundation undertakes in the communities we all live in.”

Julia is the Growth Director at The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA). She is responsible for driving sustainable growth, organisational transformation and commercial performance across a multi-disciplinary directorate spanning policy, sales, marketing, grants, membership, qualifications, events and product development. She works closely with the CEO, Board of Trustees and key stakeholders to translate strategy into operational delivery, strengthen partnerships, and maximise RoSPA’s impact in improving health and safety.

Julia has played a key role in modernising and growing many of the organisation’s services, including qualifications, awards and events. She has led major transformation programmes, developed new commercial propositions and a career highlight was managing the RoSPA Centenary Royal Garden Party at Buckingham Palace, attended by nearly 3,500 guests.”

“Siarah is a strategic leader in social value, procurement and community investment, with experience shaping large-scale programmes across housing, healthcare, local government, and the voluntary sector. She works closely with organisations to ensure social value commitments are translated into meaningful action and deliver tangible benefits for communities. She is passionate about helping organisations understand, evidence and communicate the long-term impact of their social value activity, strengthening accountability and informing strategic decision-making.

Alongside her professional expertise, Siarah brings lived experience of homelessness, fuel poverty and mental health challenges, providing valuable insight into the some of the barriers faced by many in the communities we serve. This combination of strategic leadership and personal perspective informs her approach to ensuring organisations remain focused on delivering sustainable, measurable change”
