The 2022 Sureserve Foundation fundraising dinner

On Tuesday 22 November the Sureserve Foundation invited sponsors and supporters to join us at the stunning Merchant Taylors' Hall, in London, to celebrate an evening of fundraising and fun.

For all those in attendance the evening was a great success, and an opportunity to understand more about the Foundation's goals and objectives. With so many partners and supporters engaged with the very real issue of fuel poverty in the UK, the commitment to help was visible and clear.

The evening began with an introduction to the Foundation's work from John Charlton, Chair of the Foundation, and continued with a three course meal, silent auction and raffle, with a wide variety of spectacular lots being snatched up by enthusiastic guests. We are very grateful to all those supporters who donated prizes for the evening.

Guest speakers Alan Townshend,
Group Chief Executive of Southern Housing, and Elly Hoult, Group Director of Assets and Sustainability at Notting Hill Genesis, made a real impact with their discussion on the impact of the energy crisis on Social Housing.

The evening's contributions helped to raise over £60,000, which will go a long way to tackling issues of fuel poverty for a great many families across the UK during 2023.

‘It is important that we all recognise our part in creating the change so essential for a future where the unjust disparity for those unable to heat and power their homes no longer exists.’

With thanks to our sponsors
